If you are driving from Rio de Janeiro International Airport:

• You have to take "Linha Vermelha" (Red Line Highway), which is a small highway, towards the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, noble part of Rio de Janeiro
• Follow the signs right through to Copacabana (famous district of Rio de Janeiro that surrounds the sea.), green boards in the way
• Keep the ocean on your left as you go. You will pass by the Docs, Rio de Janeiro Downtown (on the right), through Flamengo's Park, Sugar Loaf Mountain (on the left) and finally reach Copacabana after going through two short tunnels
• Keep going until you get to the Atlantica Avenue (turn right at the end of Pricesa Isabel Avenue). Keep on Atlantica Avenue for 2.9 km.
• Turn right at Av. Rnh. Elizabeth da Bélgica (900 m), slight right at Av. Vieira Souto where the traveler can enjoy the beauty of Ipanema beach,Continue onto Av. Delfim Moreira (1.3 km)
• Continue onto R. Visc. de Albuquerque (55 m), continue onto Av. Niemeyer (3.9 km), turn right to stay on Av. Niemeyer (14 m),Turn left at Av. Aquarela do Brasil.

Para chegar do aeroporto a avenida atlântica, no Rio de Janeiro solicite o seguinte:

• Pegue a "Linha Vermelha" (Red Line Highway), em direção à Zona Sul do Rio de Janeiro, que faz parte nobre do Rio de Janeiro.

• Siga as indicações para a direita através de Copacabana. Mantenha o oceano à sua esquerda na direção que você vai.
  
  
• Você passará pelo porto do Rio, você verá o Centro da cidade (à direita), siga através do Parque do Flamengo, Pão de Açúcar (à esquerda) e, finalmente, chegar a Copacabana, depois de passar por dois pequenos túneis.
  
  
• Continue até chegar à Avenida Atlântica (virar à direita no final da Pricesa Isabel Avenue). Mantenha na Avenida Atlântica por 2,9 km.
• Vire à direita na Av. Prof. RNH. Elizabeth da Bélgica (900 m), bem leve na Av. Prof. Vieira Souto, onde o viajante pode desfrutar da beleza da praia de Ipanema, continue na Av. Prof. Delfim Moreira (1,3 km)
