Newly refurbished Chelinda offers wonderful seclusion and access to some of the most diverse of Malawi's landscape. Nestled into the forest edge the lodge is sheltered and offers maginificent views across the National Park. Game drives offer visitors the opportunity to see herds of roan, eland and zebra.

Chelinda Lodge is set in the heart of Nyika National Park.

From Mzuzu take the M1 north to Rumphi (good tarmac road). From Rumphi you will join a track and follow signs into Nyika National Park. From the park entrance you will be given directions and the lodge and camp are signed. Off road vehicles are highly recommended espeically during the wet season. The lodge is 120 kms from Rumphi but the tracks are usally in poor condition so allow plenty of time.

Prices include 3 x game activities, ( 2 x game drives and 1 x walking safari) game drives are done in the lodge open top vehicles. Fly fishing can also be done in nearby trout streams and dams- season dependent. In the main living area of the lodge is a wonderful open fire place.
