Kamer 01 is situated in a historic building full of charm, giving the visitors the feeling of real Amsterdam. This old canal house built in 1585, still retains many of its original features, including a spiral staircase, exposed ceiling beams and a visible wooden roof construction.

The interior has been professionally renovated to incorporate modern artistic and technical features. The guests can choose between the blue and the red room, full of comfort and style. Both rooms have ensuite bathrooms, a sleeping area and lounge area with a beautiful canal view. 

Through a small staircase you can access the roof terrace which has superb views of the city. The best time to enjoy the view and complimentary glass of wine is before the sunset. A fresh breakfast with organic and regional products is served daily in the dining area on the first floor or in your room.

Kamer 01 is located right in the middle of the Amsterdam canal belt district that in 2010 was listed as UNESCO World Heritage site. The crescent-shaped rings of man-made waterways were built around the old heart of town during the 17th-century Golden Age. Its elegant mansions, tree lined canals and numerous bridges form the image most often associated with Amsterdam. The districts includes restaurants, cafes, boutiques and antique shops as well as different museums and galleries.

The centrally located Kamer 01 is within walking distance from the lively Rembrandtplein and Leidsplein, the Kalve straat shopping area and the museum square with the famous Van Gogh and Rijks museums.  

From the Schiphol airport take a train to Amsterdam Central Station.

From the Central Station take tram number 1, 2 or 5 and exit at the Koningsplein stop and walk in the opposite direction of the floating flower market.

The fresh breakfast with organic and local farmer products is served in the first floor kitchen or in your room. During your stay feel free to get a drink or snack from the kitchen! Laundry service is available upon request.

Through a small staircase you can go up to a roof terrace which has superb views over the city.  Weather permitting, your hosts will serve complimentary pre-dinner drinks on the rooftop.
