The monumental building is located right in the middle of the city center overlooking the famous old city gate De Waag on Nieuwmarkt square. The guests can stay in a double room with a kitchenette on the first floor or in a large studio on the second floor.

The studio has a spacious sitting area and a typical loft bedroom on the upper level of the room. The old charm of the building is well preserved as the modern comforts are well combined with the historic elements. Fresh breakfast is included to the room rate and served either at the bakery next door or in your room.

Nieuwmarkt square (New Market) is located right in the lively centre of Amsterdam, surrounded by several cafes and restaurants. The most important gate of Amsterdam is located in the middle of the square. The former St. Anthony's Gate from 1488 is now known as De Waag. The building has hosted several museums and today there is a restaurant with a grand terrace. Every Saturday an organic market takes place on the square.

Behind the Nieumarkt you can explore China town and the Red Light District. Most of the major attractions of the city centre are within the walking distance from the square.

From the Schiphol airport you can take a train to the Amsterdam Central Station.

From the Central Station you can walk (10 minutes) or take any metro (underground). Get out at the first stop. Take the direction marked Nieuwmarkt. Inn Old Amsterdam is on your right as you enter the square.

Parking in the centre of Amsterdam is expensive. The best is to park your car at the edge of the city. More information on P+R facilities here.

From Tuesday to Saturday the breakfast is served in the Petite Patisserie Sol by Ton. The bakery is located just steps away from the B&B and he serves great variety of  freshly baked croissants and various pastries. On Sunday's and Mondays fresh breakfast is served in the rooms.

Just outside of their accommodation, the guests can find several restaurants, cafes and terraces.
