The Jordaan neighborhood is part of the historic city center of Amsterdam. With its narrow streets, inner courtyards and bridges, Jordaan has a really authentic and warm atmosphere. It is a popular residential area but because of the numerous boutique shops, galleries, restaurants and typical Dutch bruin cafes it is great for shopping and entertainment.

All Inn the Family is situated in a typical old Jordaan house. You will stay in one of the two double loft rooms overlooking the surrounding roof terraces or in a single room with a beautiful canal view. Start your mornings with a fresh organic breakfast served in the dining room or green backyard.

Originally built to house the working class, today the Jordaan is a favorite place for students, artists and young professionals.  It has become one of the most expensive, upscale locations in the Netherlands. Some of the city's best boutique shops, restaurants, cafes and bars are here.

The Jordaan has a high concentration of hofjes (inner courtyards), many of them with restored houses and peaceful gardens. Many houses have a stone tablet on their facade, a stone sign displaying the profession or family sign of the inhabitants.

The famous Anne Frank House is located in the Jordaan district. There are flea and antique markets on different days of the week and every Saturday there is an organic market at Noordermarkt square.

From the Schiphol airport you can take a train to Central Station.

By tram: Take tram nr. 13 or 17 and exit at the ‘Westermarkt’ stop. Cross the bridge to the other side of  the Prinsengracht, turn right, continue to walk straight and cross the bridge over the Bloemgracht and turn right. You’ll now find yourself on the Bloemgracht. Go straight and turn right at the Leliedwarsstraat. Go straight and cross the next bridge over the Egelantiersgracht. Walk straight on, pass the next crossing (Egelantiersstraat) and you’ll find yourself in Tweede Egelantiersdwarsstraat. (less than 10 minutes walking distance). You can easily recognize the house by the light wooden bench on the street.

The guests can use the downstairs dining area and green backyard. Fresh breakfast with organic products is served from 8:00- 10:00 at the kitchen table, in the back garden or on the ‘bench’ in front of our house where you can enjoy the lively street scenery. Lunch and dinner are available on request. There are several dining possibilities in the neighbourhood.
