The National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci is among the world's best technical and scientific museums and comprises more than 10,000 items presented on 23,000 square meters of halls. The collections illustrate the history of science and technology by displaying the models of Leonardo da Vinci and the devices used in space exploration. The Museum of Musical Instruments in Milan is the second largest one in Italy. The majority of the museum 800 exhibits represent string instrument, including guitars, violins, lutes and mandolins.

The most important parks in Milan are: Parco Agricolo Sud Milano, the Trenno Park, the Sempione Park, Parco Forlanini and others. Giardini Pubblici is one of Milan's oldest public parks landscaped in an English garden style with a pond, the Natural History Museum of Milan and the Villa Reale. Parco Nord Milano is a large green area with a great diversity of landscape, lakes, meadows and flowers. Giardini Pubblici (The Public Gardens) is a wonderful garden in the center of Milan which is hidden from the noise of the city and offers pleasant views. There is an old villa, numerous magnificent sculptures and a museum on the gardens' territories, and it makes them even more attractive.
